Northeast Regional Ambulance Service, contracted 911 EMS Provider for the City of Beverly and the Town of Danvers, is happy to announce that the Commission for Accreditation of Ambulance Service (CAAS) has awarded full accreditation to our organization for another three years! The organization is also extremely pleased to announce, for the third consecutive time, Northeast had zero deficiencies and received a perfect score.
The accreditation process established by CAAS was developed to promote high quality patient care in the medical transportation system. Each organization is evaluated by a series of standards and an independent review by two seasoned EMS professionals (one of which is a physician). CAAS accreditation is considered the “Gold Standard” for the industry. Northeast Regional is one of only two ambulance services in Massachusetts to hold this accreditation.
Northeast has been accredited since September of 2008 and is very proud to remain accredited until September of 2026.
