MIDDLETON — Northeast Regional Ambulance Service wishes to provide the following update:

On May 24, 2021 the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) Board of Commissioners met and granted Northeast Regional Ambulance Service accreditation for the fifth consecutive time since 2008.  Accreditation is considered the “gold standard” of EMS.

Less than two percent of ambulance services nationwide achieve this recognition.  In order to become accredited, an ambulance service is evaluated on over 400 standards, many of which exceed state and federal EMS requirements.  Northeast Regional was rated at 100 percent compliance with all 400 standards.

Marcie McGlynn, CAAS administrator emailed us yesterday with the results and stated “Congratulations on a job well done!” and “Congratulations on receiving a perfect score!”  Northeast Regional appreciates the accreditation process because it allows us to confirm through a panel of independent industry experts that all of our company policies, procedures and systems are providing the highest quality care and service possible.

We are particularly proud of the fact that for the past nine years, we have consistently received perfect scores on every one of our accreditation audits.
